Nikani Awtiken is a program for Mi’kmaw youth ages 14-18 that provides rich cultural experiences, immersing youth in Traditional Mi’kmaw Knowledge and natural resource management, with the aim to foster deeper relationships with Wksitqamu.
This year Nikani Awtiken will be hosted at Camp Rankin near St.Peters.
Counselors will need to be available for training days on July 30 and 31st, and then be available from August 1-8 days and nights.
